    Hi,

I don’t know the answer to this but I always aim to progress (and use my log book) No matter what! I’ll be watching this thread with interest!

Im really still a novice but I don’t like the term genetically gifted… The people I’ve met who use the term seem to use it as an excuse for not reaching their own goals because they lack commitment or consistency.
More experienced lifters would have a better idea. But I only see absolute dedication and commitment from Corinne and JP and their progress whilst phenomenal doesn’t seem to have come any easier than it does for anyone. In short just looks like ffing hard work to me lol 🙂

I bloody well hope not 🙂

What do you want? And… how much do you want it? That is all that is relevant.

    Good luck! And Enjoy!

Great news thanks, I would not enjoy sitting between sets on leg day (for fear of ceasing up and/or throwing up!)

Hi there, strangely I was just reading a DC post on Facebook about this, he links it to the study above. Some of it is beyond me but still an interesting read 🙂

Great question 🙂 I’ve often wondered about this too. Going past parallel really hurts my knees and I have to lower the weight I squat to less than half of a parallel squat. I have the same issue with hacks. I keep it heavy and parallel because that’s what I love!

    Thanks Corinne,

I was worrying (as usual lol) because I’d read various bits about people having to cut the legs on suits because the rubber around the inside legs wasn’t legal, anyway it looks like they are allowed now… so I’ll get shopping 🙂

    Hi Corinne,

I’m getting close to my first PL comp now… Eeek 🙂 Do you have any recommendations for singlets? and as I will need to order most of my stuff from the UK in the next 2 weeks can you think of anything extra bits that I should invest in?

    Thanks

That’s awful news… Sending you healing hugs 🙂

Try to enjoy your rest week (easier said than done I’m guessing) and I can’t wait to watch your progress over the coming months.

    Hi Steve,

My knowledge of bodybuilding is fairly limited but I do know a bit about teeth.

As we age we experience a natural mesial drift of our teeth; with time our teeth will move forward in their arch. If you add to this natural phenomenon possible changes in your dental occlusion like excessive grinding/clenching (or even an unerupted wisdom tooth pushing) you can get significant movement. Sadly it is also well documented that anabolic steroid use can increase bone production, especially in the skull and face. If you are affected your maxilla and/or mandible grow which in turn causes your teeth to ‘splay out’.

If your dentist is content that the issue is caused by clenching then I’d imagine that orthodontics would be the perfect solution. You will most likely have to wear a splint at night and anytime you are prone to clenching for the rest of your life.

Hopefully I’ve helped a bit; if you google ‘mandibular growth and steroids’ there is a lot of info available.
