Would Granite’s Joint care be needed if already taking Curcumin & boswellia?

Hey Luke, would you recommend Support Max by Strom to non competing, non assisted gym goers? I’m a father of 3 and recently got back into training/dieting and want to be as healthy as I possible can be. I’ve picked up some Curcumin, omegas, multi vit, ashwagandga, boswellia and 5htp. Do you think the support max will be needed or would it be overkill?

Luke, do you only wear your belt in the gym? would it be worth wearing it for most of the day?

hey Luke, what’s the best way to cook Flank Steak? i got some from Costco and think I keep ballsing it up. is it meant to be chewy….ive cooked a batch load, reheated and it wasn’t nice, chewy/tough. I don’t have a bbq grill, I used a griddle pan which I’ve used for sirloin, rib eye and rump and got it how I like it. sorry if it seems quite simple to do but I bought a couple of packs and don’t want to waste food. thanks mate

    thanks for your response Jaybird.
I totally agree, it’s about quality of the product. not how the packaging looks. I will order some of the supplemment needs supps and try for myself. I’m sure they’ll be bang on.

hey Luke, awesome blog mate. really happy you’re on this site.
how come you use steak in your postworkout meal? Doesn’t the fat in the steak slow down absorption of the carbs/protein?

hi guys. looking at the health supps on the site, Curcumin etc. Don’t mean to sound rude but are the supplement needs supps of high quality? I’m assuming they are because Jp & Corinne have advertised them on here….i normally use Life Extension from Jp’s reccomendation but looking to try the supplement needs supps.

    Thanks for the response guys
Christoph – I wouldn’t want to have any fats in the post training meal as I don’t want to slow down the absorption of protein/carbs

Stephen – a little more info may help
I’m 5’6 and currently 211lbs and very overweight. I would like to be between 160-170lbs. I train push/pull/legs, full time Shift worker and do anywhere from 6k-10k steps a shift and I’m also a Dad with 3 under 3. So I’d say I’m very active but I eat as if im lightly active just to be on the safe side.

my current diet is as follows

pro/fat – usually steak/eggs or whey with almond butter

train – intra would be Sustain with Pepto pro. im using sustain as I’ve got two tubs to use and it also has citruline Malate and beta alaine in. also add in creatine too

immediately post workout I’ll have 2 rice cakes with jam & honey

60 mins post workout I’ll have chicken with either white rice or white spud with a couple of rice cakes

then I’ll either have another pro/carb meal 2-3 hours after or back into pro/fat meals.

I have it in my head that carbs pre workout will make me feel sluggish in the gym so hence why I try and avoid carbs pre training and only have them after. But im really keen on progressing performance and intensity so maybe with your suggestions id be better off adding carbs into my intra and taking them away from my post post workout meal?

in hitting around 2250-2500 kcals a day

hey guys I’ve recently bought 2 packs of flank steak from cost co after watching Luke’s ‘day in the life’ vid.
does anyone know the best way to cook this steak? I don’t have a bbq grill but I do have a griddle pan….

in general is it better to cook steak as and when your gonna eat it? In the past I’ve cooked steak in batches and reheated as when I needed, it certainly wasn’t as nice compared to freshly cooked. any advice on batch cooking steak please?

    thanks
