I didn’t change calories, reduced the intensity of my cardio slightly (speed wise) but kept time the same. Reduced stress & improved quality of sleep.
Additionally, I still counted my steps from cardio but aimed a little bit higher than 10K daily steps, more so around 12-15k, now. I typically get about 6.8k steps from incline treadmill. Getting my steps during the day at work, and on days where I’m doing smaller inspections that don’t take long, ensuring I’m walking during the workday, as well.

Hello Kerry,
Thank you for your response!
I’ve been dieting since December.
No deloads, been doing low volume, high frequency training @ 0-1 RIR, heavy loads, aiming for 5-8 (sometimes 10) reps, with noted decrease in velocity of the movement.
My sleep quality was pretty awful from December to the first week of February, but it’s been much better and consistent. Been able to get 7-9 hours of sleep consistently each night.
My stress was also very high during the above time frame due to work and other personal life stressors. Been managing with therapy, no medications or anything though.
Yes, I wear an Oura Ring and an Apple Watch.
I account for these in my daily steps.
Other people around me have noted that I’ve been losing weight, but I don’t personally see a difference. That may be due to I had a high, starting BF% starting point.
