I weigh out 2g of lo-salt, and 10g of pink salt & spread it across 2g per meal through out the day, I am 5ft 2 and weigh 59kg, I drink around 6L of water..
I do not track from food sources however, maybe this is something you need to trail for a number of weeks at different amount of grams to see if you notice a difference with brain fog.. unless this is coming from something else.
Alright cheers Kerry

Just move at your own pace without an incline bud
Alright Haider

That sounds fine you don’t want to be too aggressive with them they just need to be steady pace for output I think faster steps become cardio and not steps
Understood Kamara

Just a normal walking pace that isn’t elevating heart rate
Alright, thank you Michaela

I agree with the replies from the time. To add, if you will be doing steps on the treadmill when the weather is not so good I would make a note of what speed you do this at which is a steady walk and not making you out of breath. You can then stay using this same speed (without an incline) each time you use the treadmill for consistency
Thank you Marc, will do

I think we’re your at sounds perfect.
Don’t over think it. Your not taxing yourself if your just walking.
You know if something feels like your out for a nice walk or your climbing a hill

What you’re doing is correct , keep going like that .
Thank you Jordan

Steps are just movement that contribute to your daily output, alongside cardio, so don’t overly worry about speed.

I have all male clients add around 1g to all meals – circa 5-6g daily
Additional 1g pre training
I don’t track the sodium in foods as mainly it’s all natural foods etc and repetitive so standardised itself.
Personally I feel for most 4-6g is more than though.
Obviously for larger people it in certain environments more will be needed
Alright, thank’s Hilly

much like the other athletes – I weigh out my salt in the morning and spread evenly through the day. I don’t count salt from food sources themselves, just the salt I add
Thank You Sara

Hello mate, I don’t weight my salt at all
It’s just by taste but I know I am around 12gr daily
I salt my meals a tons; but it is like this even before I was a Bodybuilder…
When I first measured it for curiosity I was chocked.
But also I have been monitoring blood pressure, bloods work for sodium and organs and everything is in range, even if I don’t sweat at all.
I don’t say this is good to do, but I say that some of us don’t get any problem with getting a bit more sodium than others.
Thanks Allison

Everyone will be different here. I don’t think anyone will track there sodium from food sources just the added sodium intake.
I have some clients use 1g per meal and intra some 2g
In prep myself I used 3g per meal and intra so 21g daily.
I sometimes split this with lo salt too
Just start with 1g per meal and intra and keep it consistent bud
Cheers Nathan

I am the same as Kam – I weigh my daily salt and have it with me for the day and spread across the day and I don’t count salt from other foods just the added salt
Cheers Rhea
