What you’re doing is correct , keep going like that .
Thank you Jordan

Steps are just movement that contribute to your daily output, alongside cardio, so don’t overly worry about speed.

I have all male clients add around 1g to all meals – circa 5-6g daily
Additional 1g pre training
I don’t track the sodium in foods as mainly it’s all natural foods etc and repetitive so standardised itself.
Personally I feel for most 4-6g is more than though.
Obviously for larger people it in certain environments more will be needed
Alright, thank’s Hilly

much like the other athletes – I weigh out my salt in the morning and spread evenly through the day. I don’t count salt from food sources themselves, just the salt I add
Thank You Sara

Hello mate, I don’t weight my salt at all
It’s just by taste but I know I am around 12gr daily
I salt my meals a tons; but it is like this even before I was a Bodybuilder…
When I first measured it for curiosity I was chocked.
But also I have been monitoring blood pressure, bloods work for sodium and organs and everything is in range, even if I don’t sweat at all.
I don’t say this is good to do, but I say that some of us don’t get any problem with getting a bit more sodium than others.
Thanks Allison

Everyone will be different here. I don’t think anyone will track there sodium from food sources just the added sodium intake.
I have some clients use 1g per meal and intra some 2g
In prep myself I used 3g per meal and intra so 21g daily.
I sometimes split this with lo salt too
Just start with 1g per meal and intra and keep it consistent bud

I am the same as Kam – I weigh my daily salt and have it with me for the day and spread across the day and I don’t count salt from other foods just the added salt
Cheers Rhea

I also just weigh my daily intake in a pot and spread it out on daily meals.
I’m eating the same food 99/100days, so i dont count salt from the food, just the add on, so i can manipulate in prep

I personally weight out my daily salt intake and pop it in a little pot then just make sure I space it out and get it all in throughout the day. I don’t count salt from the foods I’m eating just the salt I’m adding.
How do you feel on that amount of salt? I’d say it’s probably a little over what you need but it would depend on how you feel? Potentially try 1g per meal if you’re concerned see how you get on and then you can increase from there if needed
I feel a bit weird to be honest, sometimes a bit brain fog

Unless you sweat alot or live in a hot country you don’t need salt on every meal. I never track salt unless in prep where I just count turns on the salt grinder then I know what I need to manipulate pre stage. If you enjoy tracking every single thing then go for it but it’s not necessary.

MemberMarch 24, 2025 at 2:42 pm in reply to: Full Body EOD – plan in advance – life stressorsI agree with Oscar, I wouldn’t train these back to back, I’d just continue from the Sunday too.. I train one day on one day off split & if I’ve needed to, this is the approach I have been advised to take also!
cheers kerry, so take the extra rest day and attack the next day

If for some reason your couldn’t train , I’d always move that session to Sunday . You can use that day as a buffer for sessions missed as Monday is rest day , it gives you enough time to recover .
Perfect, understood, thanks Oscar

If you train in a private gym, train. If you’re in contest prep within 8 weeks out, train.
If you train in a public gym, don’t be the douche that gets other people sick lolCheers Michaela
