Hey buddy! As mentioned by Meg there are some health benefits to using losalt. However I would say this would be for the average person not someone that’s training most days of the week. Especially for bodybuilding we will require a slightly elevated level of sodium so personally I use pink Himalayan salt on all of my meals. I don’t count grinds specifically but I will use enough to satisfy my taste levels.

    Thank you Louis!

Lo salt helps lower BP, reduced risk of cardiovascular disease, gives your body a little more potassium – I like to use a mix of great quality iodised salt and lo salt for my day

6 grinds of pink salt a meal sounds good to me if you’re not having any cramping sounds great

Thank you Meg. That’s very helpful! Good luck at the Olympia! Hope you and Kuba are having a great time. Very well deserved! 🙂

    Hey,

Who have you seen using lo salt? Why do you think you need 6 turns a day? You want a high quality sea salt or hymilaylan salt. I wouldn’t do 6 turns a day unless you sweat alot.

Hey Ryan, I’ve seen plenty of people use it so I was curious. 6 turns is roughly 1g of salt per meal, so I like to keep things consistent. I drink 5 litres a day, have a high step count due to my job and sweat a ton in training, so just want to keep on top of it and wondered if LoSalt would be beneficial.

Thank you everyone! I’ve got a couple of trips, one will be slightly more difficult due to pre-booked trains and things like that. However, you have all given me some great ideas and help! 🙂 I’ve ordered a portable rice cooker and electric cool box to be prepared!

Use this time as a diet break

Bring up your calories to maintaince or even a slight surplus for a week then go back into a decicit , take extra rest days if needed too

Thank you Kuba. That’s very helpful.

I forgot to mention, I have a holiday (for a week) in 3 weeks and plan on finishing the diet a week or two after that.

Would your advice still be the same?

    Hi Guys,

I have an update 7 days after changes:

    – increased steps by +2,000
    – Increased cardio to 25 mins on TD (+15 mins)
    – Increased cardio to 40 mins on NTD (+15 mins)

There was an initial drop in weight but things have stalled very quickly once again. What changes would you recommend from here?

As this was intended to be a short fat loss phase.

    Thank you 🙂
    Ben

Thanks for the replies everyone. My recovery is okay at the moment. Could definitely do with more sleep though.

I am currently running, upper, lower, rest. So sessions are pretty brutal and I’m wrecked at the end. I had a deload prior to starting the fat loss phase.

In terms of weighing food and sauces I track everything except the salad. So I shall start doing that. I usually eyeball it.

I will add in the extra expenditure!

    Thank you

Let us know how you get on Ben after increasing expenditure. You may also find utilising UNWIND post workout and Dream Sleep pre bed will help with your recovery, sleep and reduction in stress.

Thank you Clare. I usually train after work, by the time I get home it’s late so I eat and then go to bed. Would you still recommend taking both?[/quote]

I would just use Dream sleep pre bed then.

    Thank you!

Are you taking pictures and assessing how your body comp is changing aside from just weight?

If I’m being honest, I’m not one to take many photos. So I should do that more.

    Thank you
