    161.8 – Pull

Very successful push session yesterday also recorded for my YouTube so will be out this week 🙂

Took shots Pwo and confirmed my thoughts, italy conditioning beaten already, so 6.5 weeks left to get properly there, which I believe I can do.

Fasten the seatbelts & enjoy the ride ?

    Deadlifts today!!

230.8 and new low again, bodyweight is flying off. Couple of rough nights sleep with passing water even after cutting it at half 6 but it’s part of parcel. 4:50 wake for me today after 8:30’bed time this routine will likely stay now forever haha feels the best for me from productivity standpoint.

Busy week ahead as I’m currently peaking 20’athletes for this weekend

Yes yes ! 220’swill be super exciting.

    161.8 (new low) – Rest

Legs was superb yesterday, really loved the gym as they had very well maintained Cybex kit, which always is a winner for legs.

Performance felt great also, so I set some good baseline numbers to work from.

Closing in on the 150s and completely new conditioning territory for me very soon, well perhaps I was similar condition in 2017 as a junior, but a lot less muscle, so harder to quantify…. But I have already beaten last year, with 6.5 weeks to go, love it when a plan comes together ?

    163.2 (new low) – Legs

Lovely day yesterday spent mostly with family 🙂 shame about the F1 getting cancelled as me and Loz were excited to sit down and watch that in the evening ?

A new low to kick off the week and a leg session too, gonna pop to a different gym for a change in environment which is sometimes needed at the back end of preps, so I’ll list the session as it’s got some cool kit!

What kcals are you on training days and non training days AJ?

I have run a meal plan for the whole prep so I know roughly but something I’ve found had helped me psychologically is just not knowing the numbers or talking about them, I’ll share exact data end of the prep

    163.4 (new low) – Rest

Energy levels and fatigue was super low yesterday so I felt really fresh, as a result I wasn’t actually expecting such a big drop even though I did feel tighter and a bit flatter.

Performance was very good across pull, only dropped a rep on RDL but I’m confident I can claim that back next rotation.

Me and Loz are Off to see a lot of my family today at a BBQ, obviously will have all my own food but just nice to see everyone 🙂 hope everyone has a lovely Sunday!

    Hey Aj!
I have been dieting for over a good year. January 2020 – april 2021 and have gone too far where i lost a lot of muscle. Im 6’5 and weighing around 200 lbs right now. Eating around 3600-3800 calories but have a lot of issues with still wanting to eat food and it being on my mind all the time. Should I try to up my calories all the time because my goal is to weigh around 230 lbs-240lbs but ofc not very lean by 2024 atleast. I was always a fat kid and had a lot of fat on me but I managed to get ripped as fuck last year to about january 2021 where i began to lose s lot of muscle from maintaining a unhealthy relation to food and bodyfat percentage. So my question is actually what to do in this situation? Should I allow myself to get softer to put on a lot of size etc? I have been training for 4 years but I have been ”powerlifting” for a lot of this time where I never thought about how to use muscle but i still out on a lot of good tissue for my size. Now I have been learning how to use my muscles and actually perfecting the form so I can progressivley overload the right way! I love low volume high intensity training but I still dont think i have mastered the ”training hard” and brininging the intensity to whole another level while still using the muscles being targeted at all times. So that is lh question also.. should I lower the intensity a little? For example 1 top set all out and 2 back offs with rpe 7-9 so I can truly get in that sufficient stimulus to grow?
Thank you so much for reading through all the way and the time you took to answer this question!❤️?

And this is how i look atm!

Hey Filip, so when you are at your age you’d be doing yourself a massive injustice if you stay lean when the goal is to build more muscle. You can definitely progress bodyweight steadily at 0.5-1lb every 2 weeks from this set point but realistically just make sure you’re in a surplus!

Training wise when you are learning a new skill for sure keep intensity lower but don’t run low intensities forever trying to perfect form, perfect form comes over the course of time and you have to be training hard to practice the art of that

    164.2 – Pull

Brilliant push session yesterday, really got into a good groove and felt strong! Sleep has been such a high priority of mine at the moment, not that it ever isn’t, but right now it’s really all I’ve got to max out recovery as stress management is nailed and food is obviously where it needs to be to elicit fat loss.

Paused RDL on the cards today let’s get ittt

    164.2 (new low) – Push

Made a slight diet change yesterday to see me through these next 5 weeks of fat loss before I imagine I’ll be ready to start pulling up food 2 weeks out from the show. I’ll talk through more of this reverse process later on, and why it will yield my best look.

I pulled 30c and in turn changed my pre meal from rice and chicken to chicken and oats as the carb source. Far more satiating than rice at this stage and everything digests so easy at the moment that digestion is never an issue.

    Excited for Push today!

Great session! Without Loz today which actually felt very odd and I didn’t like it at all, much better with her in the gym with me , she had her 2nd vax and felt awful so needed to rest

    164.6 (new low) – Legs

A very productive rest day yesterday and it kept me so busy it flew by, sometimes I do love to relax on rest days and it’s needed but within the same moment, being kept busy sometimes does the job just as good!

I was also a guest on John Jewetts J3U Podcast, which I was actually pretty nervous for, so my appetite was lower than usual 🙂 but it went really well, John is such a lovely dude , we chatted all about peaking!

Today we attack the Cybex! Let’s get it

    Hi,

What natural supplements to you take if any to increase your test levels?

    Hey Bradley,

None! Your best way to maintain or improve testosterone as a natural is sleep and stress management
