Nice rest day today, very hot! Got steps done in the sun which is always nice!
Posted up these pics on my IG of prep last run 2017 to now, starting to see some improvements show through 🙂

Great Push session yesterday; found the perfect balance of volume and exercise selection in that session now!
Pull today, overall a very solid session too.
Highlight was 190×8 and 180×8 SLDL, tried the deadlift bar but the whip was too much for me , so back to stiff bar next rotation.

Rest day today and was 178.4 this morning so a bit up from the huge drop I had on Saturday. This is better 🙂
Ready for Push tomorrow

Good Leg Session today – big bodyweight drops the end of this week. However, performance is still holding on well so we’ll continue to assess the necessity of high days or reduction in expenditure to combat the loss in fullness or performance in future weeks.
Hope everyone has a great weekend

Was 182 this morning, weight is fluctuating a little more this week, I poorly timed my last meal yesterday and it’s little things like that, that really frustrate me…
Why? – because it’s within my control. I need to sort that shit out.
Won’t happen again as it knocks off digestion for a day and causes annoyances with the scale.
But – the look is coming on, and I will take some shots after upper today. Average bodyweight is still down, no need for high days for me just yet as performance is holding or improving, but they will be the next change to be made.

Hello mate. Everything seems to be going along smoothly and look is on point. Your upper profile is looking fantastic, even chest and shoulders. By no means is that derogatory, just typically the best squatters and deadlifts are poor pressers (excluding Ronnie Coleman, Branch Warren – actually any Metroflex bodybuilder). Jack Richardson for example is a behemoth of a presser. With his t-Rex arm length, deadlifts come much more difficult I bet but pressing is perfect for his type.
Used a similar hack to the one you have and failed in the hole, really not fun as you can’t get the plates off.
Looking forward to following this prep matey. Whether it transpires to stage or not this year, a good trial run that’s for sure.
Hey buddy, you’re totally right re the pressing vs squatting/deadlifting, it’s rare you see someone who is STRONG across the board. I have to just be more stubborn with the presses and eventually I will get there haha!
It’s so savage haha
Thank you, excited to share it

Great leg session yesterday with Finn & Caitlin.
Leg Extension – 2 sets + Aj’s special pulse reps
Seated Leg Curl – 2 sets
Hack Squat – 2 sets (one top, one back off with constant tension, no lockout, brutal)
Leg Press – 2 sets both constant tension (this is done due to lack of load)
Hip Thrust – 1 set
Calf Raise – 1 rest pause set
Cable Crunch – 3 setsPerfect session imo – with Legs being hit twice a week with mine and Finn’s split, we have to be really smart with volume in both sessions. This set up has worked super well.

Had a few higher days of stress recently which showed in my scale weight into this week despite visually looking leaner everywhere besides my mid section, I always carry fluid in my mid section when I’m stressed.
It’s easy to let stress …. stress you out…
But I just took a step back, realised what I needed to do to chill out more, and ticked those boxes.

Update 12th June
Fantastic Upper Session today.
Pressing with barbells still doesn’t feel amazing, but I’m getting it done, here are some numbers from today
Incline – 95 x8 +1 / 80×15
Super high incline (variation for delts) – 80×9 65×15
Bb Rows – 145×10 / 110 x23Had a good week of fat loss too, not much loss on the scales (around 0.6 lbs on average) but 100% some visual changes, so no adjustments this week.
Here are some pics after Upper today.

So much thicker everywhere. Now the fat is shifting starting to see things clearly… and can’t remember seeing that stuff last time
Thank you Dan – fruits of labour paying off a little now.

Check in day today.
Very good week of loss, little flatter in some areas but I will consistently monitor them to prevent drop off in fullness and hold performance too. Back to back high days will he added when needed. Not just yet.
