158.8 (new low) – Legs
Lovely rest day yesterday got work boxed off early and went to Meadowhall with Loz got a few clothes bits , some new shoes, bit of retail therapy which is very rare for me but it’s nice to treat yourself a little in prep , also it’s good to look half decent on rest days and make a bit of an effort I find that it makes you feel better in general 🙂
Slept decent but my body can’t really sleep past 4am now it seems to be getting earlier and earlier so I will shift bedtime to 7:30pm instead of 8 now!
Legs today , ready for it ?

What are you using as your main carb sources is it still mainly rice based ?

Hey Adam,
So my carbs are all from oats and fruit at the moment with food being a lot lower, my days are all the same in terms of food selection, just amounts vary 🙂
Berries whey
Veg chicken
Oats / chicken veg
Intra sustain EAA
Oats whey berries
Yoghurt berries dark choc

Standard rest day for me today, nothing too much on, so will get work done and then most likely head to Meadowhall just to have a walk round and get out of the house, maybe cinema if there is anything good on in the evening, these switch off periods on rest days after work is complete are so important for me to be fresh for the next day ?

Just flicking back through your log and noticed your last devolume was over 2 months ago and not even for a full rotation. Seems like you’re managing fatigue so so well this prep!
If you were to de volume, do you drop your steps and up your food?

Hey Michel, correct, have not run one in a long time!! I’ve just been sleeping and recovering like a robot.
I wouldn’t have the time to get fully peeled and do that, in an ideal world, yes 100%!!

159.6 (new low) – Pull
Had a superb sleep last night – feeling very fresh this morning ready to attack Pull.
Took shots pwo yesterday and knew a low was coming, and that it did 🙂
So I have just dipped under 5 weeks out today, my mindset is clear on the goal at hand and I believe with 3 more weeks of fat loss I can be in the conditioning required to give this British title a real real shot, so head down and keep focusing on enjoying everyday whilst eeking absolutely everything out of it!

160 – Push
Nice rest day yesterday & a good nights sleep, waking up in the middle of the night a few times is just the norm now at this composition!
Definitely getting tighter at this weight despite being around 160 for 3-4 days, I am still 2 lb below last average and sense a drop coming soon so we’ll just keep plugging away focusing primarily on the visual, I know 154-156 will see me totally ready
Excited for push today !

160 – Rest
Great session yesterday, felt strong and powerful!
Got some decent numbers too, 3.5ppsx15 pretty Continous on the Cybex, 6.75×14 on the top banded hammer strength 🙂
Today is rest so work boxed off this morning, then hopefully meet up with Kuba later for a coffee / catch up, then cinema in eve ! Like to keep busy but chilled busy on these days

Thanks mate. No, not when I’m dropping the amount of bodyweight i am. I’ve lost 2 reps and 40 lbs ? I’ll be taking a slight load drop next rotation to hit 8-9 as the lowest I wanted to hit was 7.

Loz’s 21st birthday today, so today is all about her 🙂 I will tick all my boxes of course but it’s time with her after I’ve got check ins done, round her Mum’s house tonight etc, not that I need to say it on here but she genuinely has had such a huge positive impact on my life, when you find someone that you can so happily spend most of every single day with, I think that’s a great sign 🙂
Anyway enough soppy stuff, good sleep and let’s get another day started!
