The above VM is a wrap up of today’s session! Let me know what you think ?

Great stuff mate! The voice note definitely helps with understanding your reasoning behind your training. Big up Barney on the cameo. [/quote]
    Thanks Brooke!

Hey AJ, between the Prime plate loaded incline chest press and prime plate loaded flat chest press. Which one do you prefer?

Definitely the incline mate! Never been a huge fan of flat pressing

Hi AJ, what is your opinion on varying exercise selection in your training? What do you view as more important ; using the same exact exercises consistently (as in machines) or the same movement patterns in terms of physique progression?

I would definitely favour your set up mate.

Let your partner try the 3 on one off, he’ll quickly realise that it’s not a recoverable approach for anyone that really can train extremely hard. You’ll hit a point where you ‘re deloading super frequently or conversely stalling on a lot of movements

Today’s Check in at 169.4 lbs

Just over a pound down on average this week so it’s been a productive week of fat loss!

    Training

Feeling very good this week after the de-load, managed to pull off a lot of fatigue & arguably put myself in a better position to head forwards in the coming weeks, maybe even make some progressions on certain lifts.

We headed into normal volume from yesterday, and I did feel a little bit more mashed post session than I usually do, but I was definitely expecting that considering the shift up in volume.

    Nutrition

An easy week again, not trying to rub it in or make it seem like I’m not working hard.. but I really do find dieting quite straight forward and easy. Minimal hunger, and just breezes through the week in general. I actually prefer feeling a bit hungry compared to feeling constantly full.

    TD Pull & Push – 325c 50f 230p
    TD Legs – 350c 50f 230p
    NTD – 275c 50f 210p

    Sleep

Much better towards the end of the week, started to nail a good routine and have seen this pay off in my sleep scores already which is a great sign of good things to come.

Hopefully this heat only lasts a day ??

    Mindset

Excited to keep pushing moving forwards, no changes need to be made based on the current rate of loss, so we just keep moving forwards!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday!

    Cybex Leg Day!

A good session for me, tainted a little by Kuba not having a great one because I care about his progress a lot.

    Leg Extension x2
    Prime Lying Curl x2
    Leg Press x2
    Cybex Hack x1
    Nautilus Lying Curl x2
    Nautilus Glute Drive x1
    Seated Calf x2
    Bicep x2
    Ab crunch x2

Smashed now. Bath and bed inbound

Thanks AJ. Sounds very similar to what I was thinking then. Glad to confirm my thoughts though. Appreciate this and will be following closely.

    No worries Clint!

    Nice rest day today 🙂

12.5k Steps and all meals boxed off.

Didn’t really do much else besides sit at my desk today, but it was very productive 🙂

    Aj log is insane.
Would love to hear you explain your arm days in more detail. I see you’re still working arms at the end of push and pull days and when you’re feeling recovered you have an arm day between pull and legs. I’m assuming you are still trying to progress lifts on arm days. I was wondering if this is more of a metabolic stress type day? Are your rep ranges higher and rest times shorter on the added arm days? I believe side delts and arms can recover very quickly and have thought about adding them in a similar fashion as you have. Thank you for this amazing log awesome to have a drug free athlete logging everything.

I’ve tried to do a voice note twice for this but it keeps failing dude sorry!

    Thanks for reading the log.

I go super set / short and sweet approach for the arm days mate, back and forth between bicep triceps for 3 total super sets.

Big pump and lots of blood flow by the end with the odd drop set chucked in.

Dont focus too much on logging them either I just get after it but have an awareness of load / progression in the back of my mind
