    155.6 (new low) – Push

Nice rest day yesterday – probably the first rest day in a long time where I’ve sat down for more than 1 hour in the house on the sofa ? it’s so hard to do this when prepping as you feel like you should be always doing something ! But managed to do it yesterday and felt very calm going to bed

Into the 155s now which is mad, stage weight will definitely be sub 70kgs as there is still a bit more to pull for the look I want!

Really excited for push today as per!

Hey Aj. Which exercise you plan to swap and which ones you will introduce in your next gaining phase?

Very few, but I’ll run you through that when I actually get there

    156.4 – Rest

Very good sleep last night, far less broken than usual and felt deeper too

Typical rest day for me today, you guys know the drill by now 🙂

Was really happy with the stubborn sites progress yesterday, just got to keep digging in for these next 3 weeks & enjoy it ?

Glad to see everything seems to be going to plan as you approach the last few weeks.

Quick question regarding pulls, as you’ve obviously moved to a deadstop conventional recently. Do you think you’ll keep this in post-show when you go into your improvement phase or move back to a touch and go?

Would be cool to hear your thoughts on both.

    Thank you mate!

Hey buddy great question I will personally stick with deadstop as it’s a lot easier to standardise for me!

    156.2 (new low) – Legs

Great day yesterday at the UKDBFA heart of England , long day, but had a wicked time.

I purposely knew that if I pulled my steps a little yesterday I would get a much higher chance to performance holding in today’s leg day, plus my rate of loss this week has been very solid, so I pulled down to 10k steps from my usual 17k rest day target. This was a very good move as bodyweight fell this morning by 0.8 even despite eating later.

Ready to attack legs today, another day living the dream ❤️?

Iv heard and read about people who consume red wine, salted water or even pre workouts like 1 hour -30 minutes before they step on stage. Apparently the wine acts as a vasodilator?

Have you ever tryed this AJ or had any client experiences with it?

Do you have any “pre stage rituals”?

    Hey Nate,

Not for me, I will treat it like a normal day, no real changes or special secrets. I was a guest in the J3U podcast all on peaking recently I would check it out 🙂

My pre stage ritual will be same as pre workout

    Pre meal 90’ before
    jPre Pump 30’ out
    Espresso
    Pump up
    Get on stage 🙂

    Bodyweight

Hi //AJ? can which app/scale are you using there, also can you share your leg day #2?[/quote]
    Kamtron scale / app

Leg day 2 is the same as leg day 1 just with slightly diff leg curls ( life fitness not prime)

    157 – Rest

Exactly 4 weeks to go this morning!

Pull was solid yesterday but I definitely need to drop my load a little on the RDL now, 190 is getting very difficult to retain accuracy without taking silly risk so it will be pulled slightly to 180 next session, I’ve retained 190x 7-9 reps for 5.5 months & dropping over 30 lbs since I first hit it during prep ?

Off to the UKDFBA Heart of England today, should be a great show and excited to get my last few competitors on stage this year, 6 on stage this weekend 🙂 then the next one will be the finals in 4 weeks!

    157 (new low) – Pull

Really good push session yesterday, taking mostly small wins on back off sets with a few little drop offs on top sets. But I was also happy with the amount of fullness I’m holding despite hitting these recent new lows which are pretty significant bodyweight drops at this stage, another one landing this morning.

I slept a little poorer last night as Loz was away in London & that’s the 2nd time in our year of being together that we have not shared the same bed ? Glad to have her back tonight 🙂

Pull on the cards today with RDL ?

226 this morning new low, pretty flat pretty lean all is moving on schedule.

Sleep has been getting better and better so I intend on doing all I can to keep this. De volume has come at perfect time I already feel much fresher this morning.

Pulling yohimbine out from today which will see another shift in water. All coming together now.

    We continue digging ?

    Oh yeah ? let’s go

    157.2 (new low) – Push

Yesterday’s rest day was literally a standard day at this sharp end of prep.

4:30-12:00 – I am on fire, can do anything and get work tasks boxed off so efficiently

    12:00-> pretty mashed ?

It’s crazy how you can last a certain amount of time before your brain just doesn’t want to work as efficiently anymore , it’s fine because all my work is morning based but I really respect anyone who has to work late or work after training in prep!

Anyway, big new low today, was expecting that with how I felt, push later , excited for it 🙂

    158.8 – Rest

Great sleep last night, was knocked out after that session! Been using a sleep spray from lush also which is amazing just makes you feel so relaxed

Nothing much planned today just will get work boxed off and chill for the rest of the day ready for push tomorrow!
