Hey AJ 2 questions.
1) how come this time around you are doing zero cardio but lowering food instead of making adjustments for both?
2) forgive me for asking and I totally understand if you don’t want to answer but are you and danni still together? Haven’t seen anything of her on your ig or YouTube where she used to always be present. (Again forgive me for asking and you don’t need to answer if uncomfortable etc)Hey Brandon!
1 – I feel like this is agreed amongst my circle that it brings a better look, more leg fullness, more training focus, create the deficit with hard training not hard cardio.
2 – I don’t really see why this offers you any knowledge or benefit dude, but for the sake of answering the question myself & Danni’s relationship ended 3 months ago.

165.6 this morning – had a proper good pull session yesterday managed to actually beat both my RDL sets
190×9
170×11At current Bodyweight, I’ll take that, and the low volume leg training is meaning I’m so fresh to retain everything else. I can’t wait to apply this approach of managing volume when we transition into the off season as I know how much it will pay off!
Feeling pretty fresh today for a rest day.

166.2 this morning, trending down a little again; feel like there is some more glute detail on the way which is what we want. Still feel like fullness is good, think a food adjustment (down) is needed soon to get the final bits off.
Starting to feel a bit harder now, but nothing I can’t handle 🙂

STAND-ALONE ARM DAY – Did you have a stand-alone arm day in the off-season?
I did indeed. Felt it worked very well for a while mate.
-
CAFFEINE – Do you go down to zero caffeine on all days in the off season? Do you see that it impacts strength without? I took 2 years off of caffeine but added it back in a few weeks ago, prior to training (100mg). Training has been incredible but would rather be off caffeine than on.
Great question Kyle. I did zero caffeine for most of off season and it helped my appetite massively but I think I’ll keep 200-250mg in for work focus purposes in the off season 🙂

Hey Jakub,
With your time being so limited, it’s really a case of maximum bang for your buck. Even if that means missing out isolation moves.
Let’s use an example of an upper day – 2 sets for all.
Pick exercises that are quick and easy to set up!
1 – Row Variation
2 – Vertical Press
3 – Horizontal Press
4 – Vertical Pull
5 – Flye on one day, reverse pec deck on session 2
6 – Lateral RaiseNow biceps and triceps you may as well just go in on a separate day, you could even tag some extra rear delts too, whilst the 60 min limits applies.

Hey Gavin,
All of this really depends as to how lean you are getting, but to be honest, here are some clear realities of the situation.
– You probably don’t need to change your fluid intake at all, changing it drastically is something that, to produce a better look, will require you to be VERY lean and also, practice. It’s best to actually just drink slightly more to follow suit with your carbohydrate loading prior to the shoot (to hit max fullness) and then sip on the day of the shoot to avoid bloating.
– This week, depending on how lean you are, you could follow a slight deplete, followed by a few high days fri/sat (for sunday shoot) – simple drop in carbs to deplete would be the easiest way to look at it.
– Don’t change your sessions in my opinion just hit last leg session asap to avoid too much inflammation for the weekend. Then do de-volume sessions (1 set only) for latter half of this week, for the same reason.
Hope this helps! Can’t really help you with the cycle stuff as thats beyond my knowledge!

166.8 this morning, 1lb up from rest day which is very normal for me.
Push at Normanton with the Prime Incline today, it’s a case of really fighting for numbers now for me as bodyweight continues to drop rotation to rotation.
Crazy to think I’ve only got 3-4 sessions of each rotation left before show day now..

Hey AJ, congrats with the successful BeEpic clothing launch! Just a quick question, I saw in one of your pull sessions you have a dual rope pullover near the end. Do you have any tips on how to prevent the cable stack pulling your body forward, if you get what I mean? Thanks. ?
Thanks!
Set your hips back mate, almost sit into it a little bit, chest up. Or try seated, on an inclined bench!

Another rest day today!
My little clothing venture launches today which I am super excited for, of course this has all been run past Jordan as I’ll always be working alongside TBJP for their clothing, but this is something I’ve wanted to invest in for a long time!
Checked in this morning at 165.8, glutes and hams are coming steadily 🙂

Tenet?
Watched it already! I went to see Black Panther (repeated) was actually very good, first time seeing it. I loved Tenet!!Tenet is exceptional, but had to see it twice to make sure I fully understood it (and even then I’m really not sure I do)! Very late to the Black Panther party hahah but better late than never, truly immense film.
Looking class btw, looking forward to the next episode of Upshift![/quote]
Yes I’m gonna go see Tenet again this weekend haha, loved it -
Had such a lovely weekend up north with megs and kuba!!! We are now 5 weeks out and it’s check in day and LEGS tomorrow!! I’m really looking forward to pushing on and seeing what we bring to the stage in Spain!!
I will let you know of any changes that we make tomorrow if any
This front relaxed is just ridiculous – keep pushing Rhea !x

165.2 this morning, only a tiny bit up after a rest day which is a sign I’m really putting away food efficiently at the moment.
Feeling a rise in hunger this week, loving it.
Legs later today, pivot leg press and pendulums on the menu. Tasty ?
