Morning guys, 173.6 today – very busy day to get check ins all boxed off, a merge of Thursday and Friday together, a interesting task….

Deadlift day though, I will hit an all time PB today

Agreed with Haider – another option is to simply ditch this variation of raise and switch it to another, machine or even go single arm if you have the opportunity to do that!

Morning guys, 173 today, busy day yesterday sorting a few bits for the house & Christmas, trying to just prioritise the things that NEED doing as there is so much I COULD do with the house at the moment but I don’t want to just jam my rest days full of tasks on top of my current workload. Any interior designers on here?! haha

We have Push & Arms today so….

    Gotta beat

    48s x 9 Incline DB Press ( Chest Focused ) – think the 50s could come out…
    3pps x 8 Nautilus Shoulder Press

Plans for Christmas is to enjoy the festivities but not go over board with chocolate!

Do you tend to slightly increase your step count on rest days or do you just decrease cals?

    Have a good day ?

    Enjoy!

Rest days just less calories mate, my difference is around 500 kcal at the moment between rest and training

Great points added by Jimmy & Rich here.

One thing I have used with clients is paused presses to break through a bit of a pressing stall. Usually this builds confidence where we are weak ( in the stretch ) and allows for you to re-set some baseline numbers too. Worth a shot perhaps on your flat pressing!

Morning! 174 lbs , feel very inflamed and smashed from legs and my lower back is a bit battered… good news that it is rest day.

Hi AJIโ€™m from Mexico and In my city they are going to close gyms from Friday to Sunday, what do you recommend? Only train 3 days a week or blast 4 straight days of training, Iโ€™m afraid that if I blast 4 days without rest mi progress is going to suffer.

Hey dude, if they are shut Friday – Sunday you can’t smash yourself into the ground as next weeks training will suffer!

I would only ever be able to train 3 days in a row MAX… so I would shoot for 3, not 4 buddy ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey Aj, why you have the same rotation of legs today? Instead of doing the other rotation

Right now I have the same sequence of exercises because it’s only every 6 days we hit legs, no need for a second rotation yet as they are on back burner volume.

We did change the leg extension and curl as we have multiple good ones at Ultraflex

    Hey Thomas,

The only real critique I’d have here is

    – I’d like to see some more fruit in the diet – 100g berries only is a little too small for me personally, they have a huge amount of benefits in a diet
    – I’d like to see a little less whey protein, swap out for another protein option to avoid small intolerances building, chicken, prawns, egg whites etc

Other than that I like it!

Morning guys, 172 lbs today, poorer night of sleep just got to bed too late, no excuses! This happens rarely but it’s usually down to having a little too many work tasks / non negotiables to complete post training which I did yesterday…

Todays POA … LEGS, also with Gaz filming for YouTube, excited to get a video filmed again as it has been over 3 weeks with no recording for me.

This is the same rotation as last time, so I have hack numbers to beat, which I’m a little bit nervous about to be honest!

Will be getting check ins done, meals in, and get after it at 2pm

Hope you all have a great day

    Very interesting Olympia
I think I would say the Chris bumstead change was the most impressive for me
mainly the difference he managed within a year with his back!

And in the open I think the big ramy was worth it!

Agreed with both there! Chris I think RETAINED so much more muscle too, because last year he was pretty sick

Shaun has awesome physique and he definitely deserved that win. I was happy to see Terrance Ruffin take second in classic. I thought the judging was very accurate this year, overall.

    Couldn’t agree more!

    Hey Asrar,

It’s a really tough time for sure, to be given good news, then bad news, it’s rough.

    BUT..

Remind yourself that if your why is strong enough you will find SOME solution, whether it’s little or large, finding a gym, or using some bands at home to create an OK stimulus for muscle retention.

What is your current long term goal?? It should be firmly set in your mind, then everything else flows around it ๐Ÿ™‚

I understand totally, that not everyone will have access to kit or gyms, but try to make something happen!
