I don’t use a multi currently, as my diet is very varied! But I would have it in during time periods where my diet variety drops off a bit

178.4 – Rest Day I pulled 225×7 yesterday on a stiff bar, so that’s a nice all time PB, now settled into the set up at lockdown location… we train 3 days on, 2 off, 1 on, 1 off. It’s not ideal, but we make it work and very grateful for the setup. I’ll take 230 next week, and hit 6, which I know is more than possible. Hope everyone is having a solid week!

Hey Aj when on a de-volume phase do you still aim to progress top sets or stick with a different rep range since you are less fatigued during the session ?

Usually I’ll still allow for progressions to be taken as I like to keep intensity high during a de volume! But it depends how trashed I feel ?

Took 50×9 and 44×14 on low incline dumbbell yesterday and overall just had a quality session. Very happy with how push is moving forwards now!

Hey Alexander!
I would definitely aim to keep pushing up for those 8-12 weeks and I would favour a ‘Push, hold, Push, hold’ approach to your bodyweight over the mini cut. Right now you don’t really have a huge reason to diet unless you get very sloppy body fat wise and with you being young & very responsive to growth you will most likely edge out most of this year with just pushing and holding, don’t hold for much longer than a month before you push again, you’ll earn every single bodyweight you hit. Don’t prioritise body parts at all yet just grow everywhere get nasty strong & don’t be afraid to get a bit soft in this phase!
