how many do working sets push and pull day?

    16 push (total)
    15 pull[/quote]

    195 – Push

Immense pull session yesterday with Khif, we got after deads first and I took 250×3 and 220×6 , first time ever using 220 for a back off so was super happy with the 6. The 250 triple is something I’ve never touched so for it to move so well I was pumped

Then we took 2 lat movements and one upper back for 2 sets each , rear delt row and then 4 sets biceps

In today for Push with a shoulder focus

    195 – Pull

Brilliant arm session with Khif yesterday, really insightful and definitely spent a lot of the session asking for his rationale and learning from his methods. Being open minded to any approach whether it’s a popular one or not is huge when It comes to long term progress

Today we pull, so of course that’s deads, something big on the cards of course ?

    198 – Leg Day

Nice rest day yesterday, nothing huge to note!

Excited for legs today, dropping my volume down to just one hack one leg press now as my legs respond very well to that threshold of volume

Hi AJ, running push pull rest legs rest, is there any reason I shouldn’t put triceps on the end of pull instead of on my push day to make room for more chest volume? (back and arms being a strong point and chest being the lagging body part)

Hey Will so at the moment I run push pull arms&delts legs off so that’s the only reason why there isnt more arm work elsewhere BUT also the pull session is far too long to tag anything at the end or start really

    Hey buddy.
Do you experience DOMS on leg day, coming from RDL/SLDL on pull? How do you handle this?
    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I mean, conv DL is ok for me, but RDL/SLDL trash my hams and on leg day I have pain during leg curls.

    Hey mate,

I don’t at the moment as I only do one RDL set. Once I adapt to a movement I can recover pretty quickly and I then use hacks only on leg days so low back doesn’t interfere!

    198 – Rest

Brilliant pull session yesterday, tummy was far better the whole day and got all meals in with making a few swaps for easier, more calorie dense options as the food volume was tough with still not being 100%

With things like this where I know I can train well , if I can eat effectively enough I will still go and get my session in , the moment I can’t eat is the moment I know I should rest with little knocks like this

Productive rest day coming up ⬆️ then in for legs tomo

    Hey Liam,

So with leg curls and extensions you need to find the pivot point / axis of rotation to then align the knee joint with that.

When it comes to legs wider vs narrower that really won’t off set much in terms of efficiency, your hip & ankle angle can really be self assessed based on what gives you the best stability and internal feel

    197 – Pull

Great push session yesterday but I felt pretty unwell after , confident it was mild food poisoning because my stomach was wrecked , which makes sense considering how I felt over the last 24 hrs, as things like this can slowly build since eating something off

Feeling much better today and managed to sleep well so if I can get food down as normal the session will go ahead today, if not I’ll rest 🙂

    197 – Push

Yesterday was an odd one, that session and poor sleep coupled with a high work load just buried me for the whole day, but I knew a good nights sleep and I’d turn it around, which I did. Today I feel 10x better.

With push on the cards today I’ll have high incline dB followed by the hammer strength incline chest. recently I’ve re set my hammer strength so much that I’ve standardised each rep to hit the pins , this is a range I haven’t visited enough in the past and a big reason why I think my chest is a weaker body part.

Hope everyone enjoys being back in the gym!

    198 – Rest Day

Well yesterday’s session put me in the absolute gutters out of no where, felt a bit tired going in , but during the session I was getting odd flurries of anxiousness before sets which is normal for sure, when you train hard! But this time it was so noticeable and distracting.

Good job I’ve got a full rest today and I managed to sleep in a little this morning to try and get me back in order today ? however it was one of those nights where you toss and turn due to leg DOMS and high RHR

Anyway enough complaining ? get this morning of work done and then rest and relax for the rest of the day!

    198 – Leg Day.

Really nice day yesterday took a walk up Mam Tor about 45 mins away from us in the Peak District. Managed to get all my work done by 2pm so i always find that time that I’d usually train is good to use doing something relaxing away from BB.

Legs today, feeling very ready for it.

    199.6 – Rest day

I said I’d pull something decent yesterday and I managed to follow through on that 🙂

    220×10 conventional deadlift ✔️

Very happy with the set not only the number but how it felt and how it looked , I know there is more in the tank and I am a big believer in high rep conventionals , there is something about them that just trashes your entire posterior chain

Rest up today ready for legs tomo which will be the final one before gyms open!
