Good drop this morning after a big pull session yesterday, was a great one though taking some good numbers on RDL

Hard sets for sure but digging in as much as possible will reward ?
Out for AM steps now then a productive rest day ahead, also added 10mg yohimbine to morning steps from now on.

Yohimbine is a stimulant in itself so it doesn’t need to be combined with another straight out of the gate. Later in fat loss where I need another tool to stimulate heart rate, caffeine could be added -

Hey AJ!
When you’re on prep, how do you approach loss of strength? I’m about 6 weeks in and now I’m starting to struggle with hitting my numbers on many compound lifts. Before this point strength was no problem. I’m thinking about dropping volume, but I’m curious about your thoughts and how you would approach it! Thanks!

Push went v well yesterday, felt a bit smashed after due to my nervous system still being a bit compromised but besides that I’m all good.

Feeling a lot lot better today so will get after push but just be mindful of no 50/50 reps. I have some rotations in this session anyway so a good opportunity to do so
High inc DB coming out for high incline smith
(Had it in for over 6 months… ran into the ground)
Then the rest of the session is the same 🙂

Eat big to get big sound a lot sexier than eat enough for your goal…. it’s always a case of eating towards the goal, a rate of gain too fast… you’ll see significant unnecessary fat gain. Too slow and your progress will be limited. Find the middle ground 🙂

Back down to where my weight should be , big fluid shift and I feel a good chunk better today but I’ll still need today as rest to totally shift this bug

Going to have to admit defeat today a bit and rest up. Feel pretty poor still and one thing the Oura is good at is telling you when you’re sick.
Bodyweight up, inflamed, heart rate up, body temp up… not really a good position to go in and thrash my legs / CNS
I absolutely hate forced rest & would rather make myself worse and train but that’s just not a logical decision making process or something I would get my clients to do
Will get steps done and a quieter work day then just chill

At the end of last year me & Kuba changed splits and also started training with our respective partners mate. We still chat most days, nothing has changed there 🙂

Defo needed today as I felt pretty rubbish last night, frustrating as I hate when things get in the way of a smooth week, but this happens and it’s better to happen now than at 2-3 weeks out!
Will crack on with today’s work but get a very early night and assess how I feel tomo for legs

Just 2 and mainly the compound exercise selection so a different shoulder press, diff row etc

Bit under the weather today as started to feel a bit off yesterday, still good enough to train but defo inflamed and watery from it. Push was great yesterday and I have a rest tomorrow, if I need double rest over the weekend to shift it, I’ll take it 🙂 not the end of the world

Body is moving well this week both visually and on the scale. Feel like I’m getting close to the groove my body gets into around 6 weeks of dieting, once I hit this point it’s like my body understands the goal, and allows for fat loss to occur with no real stress or resistance
Push today and the low incline dumbbells which are still feeling great at this stage so will keep battling away for a good bit until I have to rotate them!
