165.4 – Rest
Well needed rest today as the last two sessions have been very productive! As always will get work and steps boxed off nice and early to have plenty of time to switch off this afternoon.
Will pop to the gym for an in person check in with a client and I’m a guest on a podcast too, so a productive day ahead!

165.6 – Pull
Push was tougher yesterday but actually ended up being a very productive session mostly holding numbers, dropped one rep off a top set but rest were all good.
I’ve been finding I feel great up until about mid workout at the moment so I may pull my training time even further back and wake even earlier to essentially hit the sweet spot with workout timing, but for now I’ll leave it as is.

165.4 – Push
Great day out at the UKDFBA Northern yesterday, Theo taking another overall title, Shaun winning Novice BB and Lyndsey taking masters figure. Great to have 3/3 wins!
Slept well and feel well rested for push, even though show days are busy I have worked hard over the years to make sure stress management is spot on over the busier weekends, so it doesn’t interfere 🙂

165.6 – Rest
Brilliant leg session yesterday but definitely had to dig a little deeper to find it! Once I got going the session was spot on though!
Today me and Loz are off to the UKDFBA Northern , IMO the best natural fed in the U.K., I have 3 clients in the show in BB, Novice and Masters Figure, theo is hunting down another overall and he’s improved on last week, so let’s get it !

165.4 (new low) – Legs
Big drop as expected from yesterday’s rest day, I knew it would happen based on a few variables
1 – Stress management was nailed, I finished all work by 12 and didn’t really do much after that.
2 – Actively put my feet up after finishing steps, resting the legs and again, doing very little.
Do not ignore the fact I still did 15k steps and ate in a large deficit… but that, is always just one part of a much bigger picture when it comes to dropping weight / body fat
Anyway, legs today 🙂 excited !
The movie was good last night we all saw don’t breathe 2 , pretty gory ?

166.2 – Rest
Successful pull session yesterday, felt fresher than during the push session & got the job done well! Managing to retain this 190 x 9 RDL forever ?
Today will be check ins, getting athletes 100% sorted for the weekend as I have 3 on stage this Sunday and then off to Cinema with Loz Kuba & Meg this afternoon , we all opt for 3-4 pm showings as our bedtimes are identical to 8-10 year olds ?✔️

A bit more of a battle in push yesterday to retain current numbers but it’s to be expected a little now and the main goal as always is to remain intense & accurate!!
Pull today with paused RDL, looking forward to it 🙂

166.2 (new low) – Push
Productive rest day yesterday, I could absolutely feel the new low coming though, my body seems to be perfect from wake until around 3-4pm then it just hits a bit of a wall ? This is normal so any expenditure gets done before this time, so I can put full effort into it, in past years I’d drag myself out for walks at stupid o’clock and they’d serve zero justice me dragging my ass.
I still feel great up until the late afternoon at this point which is a sign my body is in a good spot!
The film yesterday was actually really good “Free Guy” worth’s a watch with a pretty good message in the film too!
Anyway, stop rambling, Push today, ready to get after it

New low this morning 236.6 and I felt it coming, performance remained high so I’m happy. Leg day today and I can’t wait to get in the gym.
Almost 6 weeks to go, condition wise I’m really not far off being better than Romania last year so it’s certainly looking and feeling promising.
So much more to play with so happy days. This week I will push hard and re asses towards end. Plan is to basically get forward and fill up if needed, one thing I won’t do is run flat for too long it actually has opposite effect to what people want and long term you have to dig harder to achieve same result with fat loss.
Once I drop below a certain point I will fill up and rinse and repeat.

167.2 – Rest
Legs went down very nicely yesterday, actually felt very fresh all day I think potentially fuelled from the weekends adrenaline, plus my sleep has improved since pulling a little bit of water pre bed so I’m getting up to wee less
Took 5 quad sets instead of 4 yesterday and I just knew I could handle it and I also took a lower rep top set than usual on the Cybex so I really wanted to hit a slightly higher one too to match my normal workload , feel good this morning so didn’t put me in too much of a hole 🙂
Rest today so will be check ins boxed off, one podcast (as a guest) then cinema tonight 🙂

Amazing day at the BNBF Midlands yesterday, great results for the most part, some confusing ones but that is bodybuilding, you can never predict it.
Onto to the UKDFBA this weekend coming but first up another week of prep for me! Excited to get after it and feeling fresh & ready to go today 🙂

Hey mate, Alpha GPC and huperzine are great nootropics, both found in dial in, but obviously if you want to avoid caffeine you could buy them as single ingredients.

Pulled well yesterday! The left side trap was still a little off going into the session so I certainly lost a little more upper back tightness than usual on deads which was a little upsetting but still came away with 205×8! At this bodyweight I am happy with that
Today is a big show for my clients, the BNBF Midlands, a very competitive natural bodybuilding federation, we hope to take some wins & qualifications for their finals in October. Pumped!!
